Winter Newsletter 2015

by John Doe

Hello to all, as Winter decends, we celebrate the seasonal change by reflecting on the 2013 wines and 2015 vintage, two of the best years our region has ever seen.

In this newsletter we profile the current 2015 vintage, 10 years in retrospect at Prancing Horse Estate and provide initial assessments of the 2013 wines in bottle. In recent months various magazines have included excellent ratings for some of our older wines.

However, we have no stocks left of many of these wines. So I am offering to buy any bottles of Prancing Horse Estate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from 2003 to 2010 at DOUBLE the price originally paid. Please contact me directly if you wish to take up this offer and you can spare a bottle or two from your stocks.

The newsletter also includes exciting news about our proposed Burgundy 6 day bike ride/wine tour scheduled to coincide with the Tour de France in July 2016. The opportunity exists for 10 people to participate in the pilot of this trip during early October this year. Expressions of Interest are now open to join either the Pilot in October this year (you will be charged at cost only) or the trip in early July 2016. A 6 day trip itinerary and cost per person will be finalised during October. Call me on 0419 393 145 for further details.

In the coming months we will be extending our Coterie wine group to include a Wine Club with a great opportunities to access the Prancing Horse Wines and our imported range from France. The Wine Club details will be announced in August and the Club will commence from the beginning of September. In the meantime see our offer to become a winemaker for the day, with Sergio Carlei, available to anyone buying 2 dozen bottles or more of Prancing Horse Estate Wine. There is also a 20% discount applicable on any purchase of this quantity of wine.
